The investors of Deutsches Haus Ho Chi Minh City and its member council appointed Dr. Philipp Rösler as the President of the Advisory Council.

Dr. Rösler served as Vice Chancellor of the Federal Republic of Germany and the Federal Minister of Economics and Technology. During his time as Federal Minister of Economics and Technology, Dr. Rösler led efforts to expand vocational training and fostered Hi-Tech entrepreneurship, particularly in the German start-up community. A medical doctor by training, Dr. Rösler also previously held the role of Germany's Federal Minister of Health. He has served as a Member of the Managing Board and Head of Regional and Government Engagement at the World Economic Forum (WEF), a Geneva-based not-for-profit foundation that is committed to improving the state of the world.
Currently, Dr. Rösler is a Global Supervisory Board member in several multinational corporations, foundations, and start-ups e.g. Siemens Healthineers, Fortum, Numbrs, Bertelsmann Foundation, and the Jacobs University, Bremen.
In his capacity as President of the Advisory Council, he will act as an International brand-ambassador for bilateral Vietnam-German interests and facilitator for German investments and tenants for Deutsches Haus.
