THE VISIT OF MR HORST PUDWILL – CHAIRMAN OF TTI GROUP AND CO-CHAIRMAN OF DEUTSCHES HAUS HO CHI MINH CITY AND HIS EXECUTIVE DELEGATION

On 19th - 22nd April 2022, Deutsches Haus Ho Chi Minh City was honored to welcome Mr. Horst Pudwill - Chairman of TTI Group “Techtronic Industries” and Co-Chairman of Deutsches Haus Ho Chi Minh City to visit us.

During the visit, Mr. Horst Pudwill and Mr. Horst Geicke – Co-Chairmen of Deutsches Haus Ho Chi Minh City and their executive delegation were honored to meet with Dr. Nguyen Minh Vu. – Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs in Hanoi, Dr. Guido Hildner -Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany to Vietnam, and Mr. Phan Van Mai - Chairman of the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City together with leaders of departments of Ho Chi Minh City.

In addition, Mr. Horst Pudwill and Mr. Horst Geicke together with their executive delegation also had the opportunity to meet and interact with Dr. Josefine Wallat - Consul General of the German Consulate General in Ho Chi Minh City, and with well-known organizations and companies from Germany and Europe which have their offices in Deutsches Haus.

Mr. Horst Pudwill (in the center) together with the TTI site-team visited the construction site of the $650 million plant project invested by TTI Group in Saigon Hi-Tech Park, District 9, Ho Chi Minh City.

Covering an area of 13.5 hectares, the plant will focus on manufacturing hand-held cordless power tools and outdoor power equipment while being at the forefront of Lithium-Ion batteries, digitally controlled motors, digitally connected tools, and industry-disrupting cordless applications.

TTI's local facility will be the second-largest plant and research and development (R&D) center in the global network of TTI.
