Deutsches Haus Ho Chi Minh City: A Gateway for German and International companies Investing in Vietnam and ASEAN

On July 8, Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee Nguyen Van Duoc welcomed Mr. Horst Pudwill, Chairman of Techtronic Industries (TTI), and Mr. Horst Geicke, Chairman of Deutsches Haus Ho Chi Minh City – a landmark of strategic partnership and strong economic and cultural cooperation between Vietnam and Germany.

Mr. Horst Pudwill shared that the first project TTI invested in Ho Chi Minh City was Deutsches Haus Ho Chi Minh City. Recognizing the city’s immense potential, the Group later expanded with a high-tech equipment manufacturing plant, the Milwaukee factory at the Saigon Hi-Tech Park with a total investment of around USD 650 million, and Milwaukee Heavy Duty Centers located in Ho Chi Minh City (opened in March 2021) and Hanoi (opened in May 2022), employing year to date around 12,000 people in Vietnam.
